We had the chance to chat with Min Jin Lee about her new novel Pachinko (Grand Central Publishing), a novel that follows a Korean family through the generations as they move to Japan and struggle to make a home in a foreign land.

If you're a follower of our podcast, you know we've been gushing about this book for months, so it was a thrill to get to ask her questions about this 400-page family epic.

We also chat with Min about about her writing process, some of the female authors who have inspired her, and our mutual love of Donna Tartt.
