About Our Guest

Bree Hill is a 32 year old new romance reader. She and her husband are both active duty Air Force stationed in Texas and have three kids. Bree’s been reading ever since she was little but it was R.L. Stein’s Goosebumps that really made her fall in love with reading. Throughout her teenage years and early 20s her reading life fluctuated a bit. In her late 20s she got an assignment for Texas and once there she discovered the online book community. Her reading life hasn’t been the same since! She fell in love with getting lost in a well written historical fiction story. She became fascinated by memoirs written by women and has maintained a lifelong love of poetry. In 2017, Bree decided to give romance a try as she was in the midst of watching a Hallmark holiday romance movie. She read her first romance November 2017 and just a few months later in March of 2018, went through an extremely dark mental health period. She sought help and began group therapy and seeing a psychologist once a week one on one. At every group meeting and doctor’s visit, she had a romance novel. Seeing two love interests work through their ‘stuff’ to reach the Happy Ever After at the end makes a lot of sense to her. If she’s not reading, she’s either out for a morning run or trying recipes she’s found on Pinterest.
